Select PO window
Purpose
Use this window to check for a purchase order spending limit and assign a purchase order number to a sale or approval.
To access this window
Press F6 in any of the boxes described below.
- Sales Invoice window, PO# box.
- Approval window, PO# box.
- Enter Committed Orders window, PO# box.
- Enter Uncommitted Orders window, PO# box.

Item descriptions
Item | Description |

Look for |
Enter your search criteria. The grid automatically moves to the purchase order matching the value as you type. The information you enter in the box changes based on the currently selected column in the grid. For example, if the sort order is by PO#, this box label is Look for PO# and you should enter the purchase order number. If, however, the sort order is by contact, this box label is Look for Contact and you should enter the contact name on the purchase order. |
grid columns A right angle bracket (>) identifies the column currently used to sort the grid. This grid may be sorted by PO#, Description, or Contact. |

PO# |
Displays the PO number. Click the column heading to sort the grid in ascending or descending order by PO#. |
Description |
Displays a description of the purchase order. Click the column heading to sort the grid in ascending or descending order by description. |
Total |
Displays the total dollar amount available for the PO#. |
Amt used |
Displays the dollar amount already used from this PO#. |
Expires |
Displays the date this PO# expires. |
Contact |
Displays the name of the contact person for this PO#. Click the column heading to sort the grid in ascending or descending order by contact. |
Order Amount |
Displays any order that has the PO# and the amount of it. |
